KAZGUU University published a compilation «Interaction of national and international law»

Research Institute of Legal Policy and Constitutional Law of KAZGUU University published a compilation entitled «Interaction of national and international law».

The compilation includes materials of the round table “Interaction between national and international law in the field of public law: legal policy and legal regulations (domestic and foreign experience)”, held at the Research Institute of Legal Policy and Constitutional Law of KAZGUU on May 15, 2015.

The articles of the following authors were presented in the collection: the head of the National Centre for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Kalyuzhny, the director of Kostanay branch of the NGO “Kazakhstan International Bureau for Human Rights and Observance of Lawfulness” A. Miller, a member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan M. Sarsembayev, Head Board member of the Secretariat of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Minister for Economy and Financial Policy A. Kishkembaev, doctors of law, professors S. Udartsev, M.Ch. Kogamov, A.D. Zhusupov, Sh.V. Tlepina, PhD A.S. Zhapparova, A.K. Nadirova, D.G. Mikhailenko, PhD A. Abylayuly, PhD students R. Temirbekova, MA student L. Ischanova. Also, general and specific issues of cooperation between national and international law in the areas of human rights, energy and the environment, labor rights, financial relations, problems of modern legal policy, sustainable development in the context of the global economic crisis, and the historical and international experience were covered.

Also, last welcome speech and article of the President of KAZGUU University, LL.D, Professor M. Narikbayev were published in the book.

Dear students!

We are informing about the commencement of accepting applications for participation in the academic mobility program for the fall semester 2024-2025 academic year.

Undergraduate students who have covered at least 60 ECTS credits, as well as graduate and doctoral students.

Criteria:

GPA level – 2.5, for Erasmus+ — 3.0
English language level – at least B2 level

The application and documents must be submitted through the web version of Smart KAZGUU, and electronic copies should also be provided in room #213 (on a USB flash drive).

List of required documents:

student’s application form (download);
a copy of the passport;
transcript of academic record for the current year of study (Russian and English);
a document confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language (if available);
completed application form (download);
written consent of the applicant’s parents (guardians, legal representatives) to participate in the academic mobility program (download).
letters of recommendation in Kazakh, Russian or/and English (if available);
copies of certificates, diplomas, received for participation in the republican or international level events (if available);
copies of documents confirming the fact of belonging to the following categories: a family composition document to confirm the student’s large family status, a document verifying the student’s orphan or left without parental care status and a document confirming the student’s disability status.

Furthermore, kindly refer to the list of partner universities and available disciplines beforehand. It is essential to coordinate with your academic advisor regarding the selection of disciplines that align with your curriculum.

️As part of the project dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the opening of the Women’s Mentorship Club took place at Maqsut Narikbayev University.
⚡The goal of the Club is to support female students and staff at MNU in developing leadership qualities, increasing motivation, and strengthening belief in their own abilities and potential.

The School of Liberal Arts held the public lecture on “Fair Trade in Northern Kazakhstan in the XIX and Early XX Centuries” within the research project AP14871281 “The Role of Merchants in the

Transformation of Social and Cultural Space of Kazakhstan in the Second Half of XIX and Early XX Centuries”.

Speaker: teaching professor Lepuda Mukatayeva Karimovna.

The lector presented the materials obtained from the studies in public archives of Almaty, Astana, and Petropavlovsk.

A group of researchers from the Department of Liberal Studies is involved in this scientific project. The SLA held the offline lecture with an online broadcast.

The historians from Almaty, Astana, and Kostanay participated in the discussion.
