KAZGUU University underwent FIBAA accreditation process

KAZGUU University is pleased to announce that on October 5, 2016 we received a certificate of international accreditation FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation). International Accreditation confirms the high quality of KAZGUU educational programs and their compliance with international standards. The benefits that University graduates will get is the recognition of the diploma abroad and expansion of employment opportunities, as well as continuing education in Europe and the United States.

In the independent accreditation of KAZGUU University as a whole and the individual programs much attention has been paid to how competitive their graduates are in the job market.

Today KAZGUU University became the first and only university in Kazakhstan, which has received international accreditation FIBAA without any conditions. Accreditation will be valid in respect of legal and economic programs of undergraduate and post-graduate training at the University from September 30, 2016 on September 30, 2021.

FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) is the leading European accreditation agency specializing in quality assurance of higher, postgraduate, additional and corporate education in the field of economics, management, law and social sciences. FIBAA is Europe’s first accreditation agency created by employers.

Dear students!

We are informing about the commencement of accepting applications for participation in the academic mobility program for the fall semester 2024-2025 academic year.

Undergraduate students who have covered at least 60 ECTS credits, as well as graduate and doctoral students.

Criteria:

GPA level – 2.5, for Erasmus+ — 3.0
English language level – at least B2 level

Application deadline: March 11, 2024

The application and documents must be submitted through the web version of Smart KAZGUU, and electronic copies should also be provided in room #213 (on a USB flash drive).

List of required documents:

student’s application form (download);
a copy of the passport;
transcript of academic record for the current year of study (Russian and English);
a document confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language (if available);
completed application form (download);
written consent of the applicant’s parents (guardians, legal representatives) to participate in the academic mobility program (download).
letters of recommendation in Kazakh, Russian or/and English (if available);
copies of certificates, diplomas, received for participation in the republican or international level events (if available);
copies of documents confirming the fact of belonging to the following categories: a family composition document to confirm the student’s large family status, a document verifying the student’s orphan or left without parental care status and a document confirming the student’s disability status.

Furthermore, kindly refer to the list of partner universities and available disciplines beforehand. It is essential to coordinate with your academic advisor regarding the selection of disciplines that align with your curriculum.

️As part of the project dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the opening of the Women’s Mentorship Club took place at Maqsut Narikbayev University.
⚡The goal of the Club is to support female students and staff at MNU in developing leadership qualities, increasing motivation, and strengthening belief in their own abilities and potential.

The School of Liberal Arts held the public lecture on “Fair Trade in Northern Kazakhstan in the XIX and Early XX Centuries” within the research project AP14871281 “The Role of Merchants in the

Transformation of Social and Cultural Space of Kazakhstan in the Second Half of XIX and Early XX Centuries”.

Speaker: teaching professor Lepuda Mukatayeva Karimovna.

The lector presented the materials obtained from the studies in public archives of Almaty, Astana, and Petropavlovsk.

A group of researchers from the Department of Liberal Studies is involved in this scientific project. The SLA held the offline lecture with an online broadcast.

The historians from Almaty, Astana, and Kostanay participated in the discussion.
