In the gym there is a large game zone of 748.5 sq.m., a gymnasium of 89.5 sq.m., a small tennis hall of 71.5 sq.m., and a gym with equipment.

With the purpose of realization of state program on physical culture, sports and health promotion there are classes in volleyball, basketball, table tennis, mini-football and all students are gathered in «KAZGUU EAGLES» club.

The aforementioned sports are free of charge and open to all who want.

12.09.15 – opening of the Football League in the “Nazarbayev University” where «KAZGUU EAGLES» Club also participated that day.

17.10.15 . 27.10.15. – opening and competition of the National Student Basketball League in the “Nazarbayev University” (the game was held on the approved schedule).

November, 5 2015 – KAZGUU held University Chess Championship

19.11.15 – 21.11.15. KAZGUU held Astana Volleyball Universiade (boys).

November 21, 2015 – Ibragimov Zhanbulat became the winner of the International tournament “Cup of Eurasia” in Kyokushin Karate (Kumite) that was held in Russia.

November 26, 2015 KAZGUU team won 2 gold, 1 silver medals in Kazaksha Kures Student Universiade that was held in Astana.

November 25, 2015 KAZGUU University held a qualifying tournament in table tennis among all students (boys, girls) of all High schools to participate in the Student Universiade-2015 in Astana.

November 19-21, 2015 City volleyball tournament among men’s teams in the framework of Astana Universiade.
