Pro-active faculty of KAZGUU was awarded the certificate of honor!

KAZGUU faculty demonstrated high responsibility and excellent results in organizational work. An active professional position of employees and their direct participation in the public life of the university were deservedly awarded by all the staff and university authorities. The rector awarded several lecturers the certificate of honor for significant contribution to the career guidance, as well as the development and strengthening of internal and external relations of KAZGUU.

The lucky owners of a certificate are Daulenov Miras Muhtarovich, Faizova Renata S., Madi Amangeldievich, Kogamov Marat Shekіshuly, Kaudyrov Tolesh Yerdenovich, Abylayuly Abay, Sergey G. Pen, Serikbayev Abzal Muhametzhanovich, Natalia G. Sannikova, Ahmettaeva Svet Seyfullaevna and Mukataeva Lepuda Karimovna.

Currently KAZGUU continues active cooperation with the media and partners in a number of projects to promote the university in the social environment and to demonstrate a highly professional competence of faculty.

It is possible to note with confidence that the joint efforts of a large and close-knit team of the university will most contribute to the university’s mission and common goal – providing quality and affordable education in Kazakhstan. Joint efforts aimed at strengthening the positive image of KAZGUU University as a leading university of law in Kazakhstan and abroad will allow to continue the successful development of the University and to strengthen cooperation with domestic and international partners.

Dear students!

We are informing about the commencement of accepting applications for participation in the academic mobility program for the fall semester 2024-2025 academic year.

Undergraduate students who have covered at least 60 ECTS credits, as well as graduate and doctoral students.

Criteria:

GPA level – 2.5, for Erasmus+ — 3.0
English language level – at least B2 level

Application deadline: March 11, 2024

The application and documents must be submitted through the web version of Smart KAZGUU, and electronic copies should also be provided in room #213 (on a USB flash drive).

List of required documents:

student’s application form (download);
a copy of the passport;
transcript of academic record for the current year of study (Russian and English);
a document confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language (if available);
completed application form (download);
written consent of the applicant’s parents (guardians, legal representatives) to participate in the academic mobility program (download).
letters of recommendation in Kazakh, Russian or/and English (if available);
copies of certificates, diplomas, received for participation in the republican or international level events (if available);
copies of documents confirming the fact of belonging to the following categories: a family composition document to confirm the student’s large family status, a document verifying the student’s orphan or left without parental care status and a document confirming the student’s disability status.

Furthermore, kindly refer to the list of partner universities and available disciplines beforehand. It is essential to coordinate with your academic advisor regarding the selection of disciplines that align with your curriculum.

️As part of the project dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the opening of the Women’s Mentorship Club took place at Maqsut Narikbayev University.
⚡The goal of the Club is to support female students and staff at MNU in developing leadership qualities, increasing motivation, and strengthening belief in their own abilities and potential.

The School of Liberal Arts held the public lecture on “Fair Trade in Northern Kazakhstan in the XIX and Early XX Centuries” within the research project AP14871281 “The Role of Merchants in the

Transformation of Social and Cultural Space of Kazakhstan in the Second Half of XIX and Early XX Centuries”.

Speaker: teaching professor Lepuda Mukatayeva Karimovna.

The lector presented the materials obtained from the studies in public archives of Almaty, Astana, and Petropavlovsk.

A group of researchers from the Department of Liberal Studies is involved in this scientific project. The SLA held the offline lecture with an online broadcast.

The historians from Almaty, Astana, and Kostanay participated in the discussion.
