KAZGUU Graduate School and KAZGUU University Center for International Law invite you to attend a conference on “Values and Human Dignity in International Law”. Professors Michal Balcerzak (Poland) and Hüseyin Yildiz (Turkey) will speak about role of values , human rights and human dignity in Western legal tradition from the perspective of international law.

Mr. Michal Balcerzak (Dr. jur. ; Dr. habil. Nicolas Copernicus University)  is a professor of international human rights law at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland. His research areas include international human rights law, protection of national minorities, international judiciary and litigation and diplomatic protocol. He is currently member of United Nations Working Group on Expets on People of African Descent  and alternate Member of the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. He has also served in various committees of the Council of Europe as an expert on thematic human rights issues.

Mr. Hüseyin Yildiz (Dr. jur. Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz) is a professor of constitutional law. He taught at several Universities in Turkey and Germany and he is member of Turkish-German Public Lawyers Platform. He is specialized in constitutional theory, theory of law and philosophy of law. His works are published in leading law journals in Germany and Turkey.
