A new lecture hall has been inaugurated at KAZGUU

An official ceremony for launching a lecture hall named after the founders of the international construction company Consolidated Contractors Company has taken place at KAZGUU University.  The new hall equipped with the cutting-edge technology will carry the names of Said Khoury and Hasib Sabbagh, the founders of one of the largest construction companies in the world – Consolidated Contractors Company.

CCC financed the refurbishment and refitting of the lecture hall at KAZGUU.

As was noted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine in Kazakhstan, Dr. Montaser Abu Zeid, in his welcome address to the students and staff of KAZGUU, the development of the bilateral cooperation is long-term and will strengthen the ties between the two countries in the educational space.

Thus, Palestine contributes to the development of Kazakhstan’s young people’s education and strengthening the international relations.

In return, the rector of KAZGUU University expressed his gratitude to the representatives of the company and to the Palestinian Embassy for their part in the development of the relations, and assured the audience of sincerity toward the partner state and its people.

As part of the inauguration ceremony, Samer S. Khoury was awarded an honorary doctorate degree of KAZGUU.

CCC has been conducting business in Kazakhstan since 1998 in different areas of the construction industry, including Karachaganak, Kashagan, and Tengiz oilfields, and the multifunctional complex “Abu Dhabi Plaza”.
