CALL FOR PAPERS

M. Narikbayev KAZGUU University and Academic Methodological Association –Project Management Team in the direction of ‘Law’invite to take part in the International scientific-practical conference ‘Legal education and science: modern problems and prospects for improvement.

The conference will take place on April 24, 2020, in Nur-Sultan, 8, Korgalzhyn highway.
The registration starts at 09:00. The conference starts at 10:00

The purpose of the conference is to discuss issues and identify an optimum scope and directions of modern legal education and science development, taking into account domestic and foreign experience

Teachers, scientists, government representatives, practicing lawyers, PhD students, undergraduates, as well as other stakeholders are invited

The conference is scheduled to conduct its work in the following directions:
innovative and information technologies in legal education and science; methodology of teaching theory and industry subjects; the introduction of the academic integrity principles in the educational process and the university’s research activities; implementation of ideas of horizontal management, collegiality, and openness at all levels of decision-making; issues of legal regulation of the status of teacher and scientist; problematic aspects of using foreign experience in the development of legal education; training of lawyers in the face of increasing internationalization of education and growing global competition; peculiarities of training judges and law enforcement officials; enhancing the scientific component of educational process; providing practice-oriented content of educational programs; interdisciplinary approach in teaching and research; assessment of competencies and qualifications in the field of jurisprudence; activities of legal clinics; other topics related to the conference
Form of participation: full-time and part-time.

The organizing committee plans to publish a collection of materials after the conference (in electronic format with the assignment of an international ISBN number).

1. To draw up the conference program, it is necessary to fill in an application form for participation in the conference (Appendix 1 – download) and send it until April 10, 2020.
2. All reports will be analyzed for plagiarism using the Turnitin licensed system.
3 Reports (abstracts) should be sent by April 10, 2020, drawn up under established requirements, by e-mail to a_kydyrbekov@kazguu.kz.

The best reports (by decision of the editorial board) will be published in the journal “Law and State”, which is included in the list of journals recommended by the Committee for Control of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan to publish the main results of scientific activity.

The article volume is from 6 to 10 pages. Submission requirements – standard: Microsoft Word; Margins: upper and lower 2 cm, left – 3 cm, right – 1.5 cm. Font – Times New Roman, size – 14; line spacing – 1.5; indenture – 1.25; full justification page-oriented footnotes (size – 12), the numbering of links in the text of the article is continuous. Links are numbered in square brackets; the number indicates the number of the source in the reference list and, separated by semicolons, the page number.

– in the upper right corner – the initials and surname of the author (bold italics, right margin justification), in the footnote (symbol – *) indicate academic credentials, title, position, name of department and university (organization), email.
– The title of the article (capital letters, bold, align center).
– The text of the article.
– List of references.
