Over 300 university students will volunteer at EXPO-2017

This was reported by Rapil Zhoshibayev, EXPO-2017 Commissioner, at the meeting with KAZGUU students.

He also noted that KAZGUU continues to be the flagship of higher education in national and international law. Teachers and students of the University are playing an active role in all the important events – conferences, exhibitions, and seminars at the Republican and international level.

-Our campaign of visits to all the major universities before the exhibition is aimed at informing the students and teachers about the forthcoming global event that is so important to our country. Over 300 university students will become volunteers at EXPO-2017. About 50 of them are students of Translation Studies, International Law, and Hospitality. All of them are future specialists and their part in the exhibition will be valuable practical professional experience, the Commissioner noted.

At the meeting, the Commissioner talked about the history of large-scale exhibitions in different countries and answered the students’ questions regarding the forthcoming EXPO-2017
